This is my fourth week of applying my plan to improve my English skills, and until this moment, I am very satisfied with my improving. The first thing I did that I used Read Up-Speed Up program and this is my first time I practiced to the Intermediate level and I selected a story called “Doctor Crippen” and I choose to have two lines in one time. Next, I toke the quiz and I did good job. It was easy for me and difficult in the same time. The easy part was understanding the story in general but the difficult part was the speed of the lines however , I was satisfied with what I read I feel that in the next time I will move to hardest level than this level and decrease the time of each line and I will increase the word in each line. However, I am getting better in terms of my reading comprehension.
Moreover, on the 13th of November, I have read an article online from the New York Times news and the article was about Medicines to Deter Some Cancers Are Not Taken and it was written by GINA KOLATA which is a good writer in US. The article was about different types of cancer in US, how many cases are there and kinds of medicines can deter cancer. The topic of the article was little bit different from the topics I like to read and it was exciting in the way how the wittier wrote it even though I do not like to read long articles but It was a nice article and not too much hard for me in terms of the vocabulary. The first time I read an article was very boring for me but this time I felt very happy during reading and I do not know the reason for this happiness.
In addition, I practiced the English sound pronunciation through The Sky Pronunciation Suite program for half an hour. And it was very amazing and interesting in the same time because I had learned some sound which was easy for me and I had a quiz which was easy to me. Moreover, there were some sounds that I might have problem with them at future such as the letter R. This letter in some accent is silent like in United Kingdom but in the way how we pronounce it is different from UK. However, In the next day I had an appointment for my teeth and I met an English leady in a hospital and I had spoken with her maybe for half an hour and I felt that I understood everything she said which made me proud of my achievement in the speaking and pronunciation skill.
I am very happy when I compare myself now and before three weeks which were very challenging weeks. I see a big difference in my way in writing, reading and in speaking. I hope I will still improving and be much better in English.

This is an interesting and thorough entry. Make sure you check your grammar and spelling before you post; there are several mistakes. -Julie
