This is the last week for applying my LLP and I am very happy that I will finish doing a lot of reading, writing and speaking. After applying my plan which are for five weeks, I will make a plan for myself that contains all the six skills. Last week, I decided to focus on all the three skills which are reading, writing and speaking that will help me to improve myself especially improve my English.
First, in reading skill, I did many things such as reading a short story and newspapers. I went to this website http://www.bedtime.com/html/jenny_s_surprise.html and I chose a short story which I thought it was interesting for my little brothers and sisters. The name of the story is Jenny's Surprise and the author’s name is Deb Hockenberry. This story is about a little girl and her baby sitter who surprised her when she told her that they will go to the park .And junny was very happy that day and she had a nice day with the animal. When I finished reading the story to my little brothers and sisters, I asked them “did you understand everything from the story?” and their answer was “yes”. I felt very happy because I told to myself that after one or three years I will read to my students and they may or may not understand my very well. I felt that I am ready to teach young students with high confidence the six sills.
Second, in writing I did something strange this time. I went to one of my high school English teachers which live in front of my house. And I gave her one of my writing essays. She was very surprised when I went to her. She said to me" Azeeza your writing is very good but you have this problem since high school which is translate thoughts from Arabic to English’’. i discussed this problem with her and I found that I translate words that have many meanings in English but can be different from one sentence to another. She gave me some advices that might help me overcome this problem. However, I made some mistakes, yet I did well in the practice.
Third, in speaking I went to my sister who is an English teacher and I told her that I want her to do an interview with me. Then, she prepared some difficult questions for me. However, the interview was for 30 minutes and I felt so nervous, even though the interviewer is my sister. I did good with great confidence especially when I spoke. However, I had some difficult parts at the interview which were grammar and answering some questions.
After doing this last week of my LLJ, I felt very happy because I saw myself improving through these five weeks. I hope I will still improving and I will make a plan to develop my English and the six skills.

I like your plan to continue with your own study; I hope you will share it with other students because everyone should try to do something similar. It’s great that you can see your former teacher, and that she has such insights into your writing and its development. You’re also quite lucky to have a sister who is an English teacher!
